AdLens metric definition

    Uniqueness

How distinctive the creative idea, execution, and brand connection appear relative to familiar advertising patterns.

    What AdLens evaluates

    • Originality of the central premise, visual language, structure, and payoff
    • Whether distinctive choices are ownable by the brand rather than novelty alone
    • Reliance on generic category conventions, stock patterns, or predictable claims

    What it does not prove

    • Uniqueness is not a legal trademark or originality search.
    • An unusual execution can still be ineffective if the brand and message are unclear.

    How to read the score

The same shared interpretation bands apply to every AdLens metric. The model rationale and evidence explain why a particular creative falls within a band.

    0–65

    Needs work

Important signals are missing, inconsistent, delayed, or difficult to follow.

    66–85

    Effective

The creative communicates well, with identifiable opportunities to make it stronger.

    86–100

    Strong

The relevant signals are clear, consistent, and well integrated across the video.

    M.Y. San Grahams

    Observed in the report

The tutorial and family-birthday setup are polished but familiar relative to the demo set.

    Proposed creative edit

Preserve the three-step recipe, but frame it as a child-led birthday rescue with an unexpected reveal.

This proposed edit has not been re-analyzed and does not claim a new score or uplift.

    Ways to improve

    1. 1.Build one recognizable creative device around the product truth.
    2. 2.Replace generic category scenes with a brand-specific situation or constraint.
    3. 3.Keep the distinctive idea connected to the benefit and final action.

    Benchmark context

The metric score evaluates the creative itself. Its percentile and difference from average are calculated afterward from the eligible comparison set.
