AdLens metric definition

    Purchase Intent

How well the creative builds a credible reason and a practical path for the intended viewer to consider taking the desired action.

    What AdLens evaluates

    • Strength and relevance of the benefit, proof, offer, and call to action
    • How clearly the product reduces a need, tension, cost, effort, or uncertainty
    • Whether the story converts attention into a believable next step

    What it does not prove

    • The score is not a sales forecast, conversion guarantee, or measured lift study.
    • Price, media delivery, landing pages, availability, and prior brand preference can change real outcomes.

    How to read the score

The same shared interpretation bands apply to every AdLens metric. The model rationale and evidence explain why a particular creative falls within a band.

    0–65

    Needs work

Important signals are missing, inconsistent, delayed, or difficult to follow.

    66–85

    Effective

The creative communicates well, with identifiable opportunities to make it stronger.

    86–100

    Strong

The relevant signals are clear, consistent, and well integrated across the video.

    Ways to improve

    1. 1.Make the benefit concrete and relevant to the intended audience.
    2. 2.Reduce uncertainty with proof, price, availability, or a simple demonstration.
    3. 3.End with one feasible action instead of a vague brand sign-off.

    Benchmark context

The metric score evaluates the creative itself. Its percentile and difference from average are calculated afterward from the eligible comparison set.
